The Temple Baptist Church Youth Ministry (for grades 7–12) exists to disciple young people to the place of a life-long commitment as spiritual leaders for Jesus Christ.

Sunday School

Each Sunday at 9:30 a.m., teens spend time learning about God's Word and how to apply it to daily life. The Jr. High class studies "Learning My Faith" and is taught by Dennis Garbers. The Senior High class taught by Matt Poe studies "Real Faith Lessons."

Youth Group

Our young people enjoy getting together on Wednesdays to study God’s Word, spend time in prayer and participate in a variety of games and contests. The goal of our Wednesday evening youth ministry is to teach teens the essential truths of the Word of God and enable them to effectively communicate the message of the Bible.

Jr. High 6:30–8:00 p.m. each Wednesday
Sr. High 7:00–8:30 p.m. each Wednesday

SNAC Bible Study and Fellowship

This activity is for senior highers only and is held the first Sunday of each month following the evening service (teens must attend the evening service to attend SNAC). Food, fellowship and Bible study are the highlights of the evening. This event is held in a different church member’s home each month and allows the teens to interact with families from the church.

Missions Program

Each year, senior highers have the opportunity to participate in this program that includes daily devotion and prayer journals, Scripture memory, church attendance and ministry involvement, book reports, etc. The program ends with a ministry trip to assist one of the missionaries supported by Temple. This is a great opportunity for teens to get involved and go places they’ve never been before.

There are many opportunities for the teens from our church to enjoy being together with our group here in Lincoln. Costs vary for these events.
