Spiritual Growth Opportunities

Sunday Morning Adult Bible Studies

Each Sunday, we offer a variety of age-based adult Bible studies for people of all ages to participate in. From 9:30–10:15 a.m., you will enjoy a time of fellowship, prayer and interactive study of the Word of God. Senior Saints Camp

Each summer, Whispering Cedars Baptist Camp (located in Genoa, NE), offers an exciting week of camp for our Senior Saints. Usually held the first full week in August, this camp includes multiple chapel sessions, group activities, terrific food and a host of other opportunities for you to enjoy throughout the week. Registration cost for this week of camp is only $10 and a free-will offering is taken each day to help cover the costs of this week of camp. Fellowship/Activity Opportunities

Temple Builders Activities

Usually held the second Friday evening of each month, our Temple Builders class hosts a variety of activities for all of the senior saints involved at TBC. Soup suppers, game nights, picnics, videos and other exciting events are the activities this group enjoys. Some of these events are held in our lower fellowship hall at the church while others are hosted in the homes of some of our church families. Whatever the event, a great time is had by all who attend!

Prime Timers Activities

The Prime Timers group is made up of the single ladies in our senior saint’s ministry here at TBC. Generally, this group meets on the second Tuesday morning of each month and enjoys a variety of outings and activities in Lincoln and the surrounding communities.

Outreach Opportunities

Sonshine Bunch

Beginning at noon and concluding by 1:30 p.m., our seniors enjoy a monthly luncheon in our main fellowship hall. Meeting the fourth Thursday of each month (except for November and December when they meet on the third Thursday), our senior saints enjoy a tremendous meal followed by a short program that concludes with a devotional challenge from the Word. If you are of retirement age, we’d love to have you join us for this luncheon each month.

Gramercy Hill Worship Service

On the third Sunday of each month, Pastor Meals leads an afternoon Bible study at Gramercy Hill (located at 68th and “A” Streets). From 2:30–3:15 p.m., those who attend enjoy a time of group singing, special music and Bible study.
